ABOUT THE ARTIST
I was born in Istanbul in 1997 and I live in Maltepe district. I completed my high school education in Maltepe/İstanbul Orhangazi Ç.P.A. Vocational High School Graphic Department. I completed my university education at Merkez/Edirne Trakya University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Painting. When I was a child, I often went to the workshop of the painter Canan Aydoğan and painted. After graduating from high school, I studied painting for a year under the painter Mehmet Yolu Aktürk. In 2017, I joined the TÜMATA (Turkish Music Research and Promotion) group, and since the day I joined, I have received various trainings and studies in the field of ethnomusicology. In the field of interdisciplinary art, I focus on the relationship between Painting and Music, I paint music. I perceive sounds as colors and transfer them to the canvas. As a synesthesiologist, I deal with intuitiveness in my paintings, the transition and combinations between the senses (hearing and seeing) with the emotional pleasures I experience, which I call "pleasure hoarding" or "the recording of pleasure".
