ABOUT THE ARTIST
Deniz Serkan ÖZCAN was born on 18.01.1992 in Kars. Deniz Serkan ÖZCAN, who received a master's degree from the Department of Art and Design, continues his studies and life in Ankara. Apart from painting, there was a "Documentary Screening" in Nevşehir University Conference Hall in 2015. In 2017, Nevşehir University Faculty of Fine Arts (Department of Painting-Music-Ceramics) made graduation film shooting and editing. In his master's degree, he took a course in "Documentary Cinema" and wrote articles about the criticism of 7 documentary films and the "Development Process of Documentary Cinema History". He also has an article about his own art called "Images of Fear". He met with Ahmet GÜNEŞTEKİN, one of the leading artists of our country, and wrote an article about his installation "Immortality Room". He participated in congresses and symposiums as an invited artist and his work was included in many active social media accounts and sites. He has had many exhibitions abroad and in Turkey, 4 of which are individual. His work; Inspired by the dreams he has had, he presents the fears that have lived and not lived with his own images by adopting the Expression (Expressionism) movement.
