ABOUT THE ARTIST
Gonca Dicle Akca Gonca was born in 1985. Se took primary, secondary and high school education in Kuşadası. Between 2004 and 2005, she studied art history, design and basic art education at Istanbul Adasanat atelier. In 2005, she started her undergraduate education at Marmara University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Sculpture. She practiced design, material technology modeling and moulding techniques at the ateliers of Ümit Öztürk, Şeyma Üstüner Uzunöz, Nilüfer Ergin, Ziyaetin Nuriyev, Nurettin Bektaş. In 2010, she graduated from the university with the work of metal sculpture named "KÖPRÜ" based on the theme of Istanbul Cultural Capital.
Between 2011 and 2014, she practiced sculpting at her own workshop in Kuşadası and had the opportunity to exhibit her sculptures in the public arena. Sculptures of Akca in public places are;

Since 2016, Gonca Dicle Akça Gonca has been producing figurative porcelain sculptures.
