Established in 2015 and based in Istanbul / Turkey, GALLERYMAK aims to fulfill the need to discover new artists and artworks since its difficult to reach latest art trends and new art works except waiting for the international exhibitions.
The main purpose of GALLERYMAK is to cooperate with artists that live in Turkey and around the world; promote and represent them locally and globally. We believe that art is for everyone; therefore we aim to exhibit various types of artworks and represent talented, promising and passionate artists for the taste and appreciation of local and global art lovers.

Is it safe to buy artwork on GALLERYMAK.com?
The security of your Personal Information is important to GALLERYMAK. But remember that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. When you enter credit card number via GALLERYMAK.com, we encrypt that information using secure socket layer technology (SSL). Your credit card information requested on the payment page, are not kept in any way on our servers. In this way, it is provided that all transactions for payment take place between the bank and your computer or your phone via interface of our website.
I forgot my GALLERYMAK password. How can I log in?

Do I need to set up an account in order to make a purchase?
No, you don’t need to set up an account to make a purchase. But if you set up an account; you will be able to easily track your order, you can manage your return and refund.
Do I have to pay any fees to register to GALLERYMAK?
No, GALLERYMAK membership is free of charge.
What is My Gallery?
My Gallery is a feature that allows you to save your favorite artworks. To add an artwork or object to your gallery from the item’s detail page, click the “Heart” symbol, which is located next to the item’s image. Alternatively, when you are not on a detail page, you can hover over the item’s thumbnail and click the “Heart” symbol that appears in the lower right corner. You must be signed in to your account to add items to your gallery.
Can I change the currency setting on GALLERYMAK website?
Yes, by clicking the module located in the site header, you can set TL or USD as the currency.
Can I change the language on GALLERYMAK website?
Yes, by clicking the module located in the site header, you can set your language as English or Turkish.
How do I search for and purchase artwork at GALLERYMAK website?
To search for a specific artist or artwork, enter your terms in the search box located at the top of the site and click the magnifying glass icon. To explore all available artworks and prints, use the search module in the main page. On the Browse Art page you will be given the option to sort and filter results by type, medium, size, etc.
To view all artists, click the Artists link in the black navigation bar.
Is it possible to give an order over the phone?
GALLERYMAK does not take orders over the phone. However, you can call us from +90 212 970 12 81 (Mon-Fri, 10.30 – 17.00) to get information about our services and artworks.
How are artworks authenticated?
Artworks sold as “Original” in GALLERYMAK website are delivered to buyers with a “Certificate of Authenticity” signed by the artist. In cases where “Certificate of Authenticity” of the artwork is not available; proof of purchase, bill of sale or a guarantee of authenticity either directly from the artist or from a confirmed and esthablished dealer, reseller, publisher or agent of the artist will be delivered to buyers to prove that the artwork is genuine.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept credit card (Visa, Mastercard, AMEX), bank transfer/EFT and Paypal as forms of payment.
Is VAT (Value Added Tax) included to the featured prices?
All product prices are VAT included.
Can I negotiate prices of artworks?
Yes you can. You will notify a feature called “Make An Offer” under the “Add to Cart” button that is listed in detail page of the artwork. A panel will open which allows you to submit your price offer and message to Gallerymak. Within 72 hours your offer will be either; accepted, counter-offered or rejected. You will be led to checkout to proceed with your purchase depending on the result of negotiation. “Make An Offer” feature is only available for original artworks which Gallerymak and owner of the artwork agrees to negotiate prices.
Does GALLERYMAK sell framed artwork? Do you provide framing services?
We prefer to sell original artwork unframed as our clients tend to frame their purchases themselves. Therefore, we don’t provide any framing services. Print works may have frame depending on the choice of printing material preferred by the buyer. Some of the artists that sell / exhibit their artwork on gallerymak.com prefer to sell them framed; you can check the framing detail of any artwork on it’s detail page.
What does “limited edition” and “open edition” mean?
Certain pieces of artwork on GALLERYMAK, mostly photography and printmaking, are labeled as either “limited edition” or “open edition”. Pieces that are in a limited edition are produced in a set limited quantity. Open edition artworks are not limited in quantity and can be reproduced indefinitely. Limited edition works are generally more valuable because of the limited number available.
How do you ship artwork?
Original artworks in your order are appropriately packed and handed out by the artist/owner to Shipping Company to be delivered to your address. Print products in your order are prepared, appropriately packed and handed over to Shipping Company by our strategic partner P&P to be delivered to your address.
How are shipping costs determined?
FREE SHIPPING for Domestic orders (Delivery address within Turkey).
Shipping costs of International orders (Delivery address out of Turkey) vary depending on the destination. Shipping cost of your order will be added to your total amount after you enter the delivery address on checkout page.

When will my order ship and be delivered?
The products/artworks which exist in stocks, in least ten (10) days from the order date are delivered to the shipping company to deliver the reported person and address by buyer while ordering. You will be notified after you place the order about the products/artworks that are not in stock. If the delivery address is out of Turkey, shipment may take two to four weeks, depending on the destination country. Additionally, artwork may be subject to duties, taxes and/or fees.
My order will be sent from another country. Will I be liable to pay for custom duties on my order?
Buyer is responsible for paying international customs fees, determined by the country the artwork is being shipped to. Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to making a purchase or you can visit this website: http://www.dutycalculator.com to learn more about customs fees.
How can I track where my cargo is?
After your order is delivered to shipping company, you will receive an e-mail which includes the track number and a link for you to track the shipment.
I wasn’t on my address when my cargo arrived, what should I do?
In the absence of a person who will take the delivery in the address, it is the responsibility of the buyer to follow the product shipments by contacting the shipping company. In such cases, all kinds of damage that arising from late receipt of the cargo to the buyer and having wait the product in the shipping company and/or be returned to the GALLERYMAK, it is the responsibility of the buyer.
My order has arrived damaged, what should I do?
You should make official of Shipping Company to secure a report when you identify a problem/damage with the order. Otherwise GALLERYMAK will not accept responsibility.
The artwork that I purchased does not meet my expectations, may I retun it?
The buyer has the right of withdrawal within fourteen (14) days from delivery to himself/herself or person/organization that he/she showed as the delivery address. In order to use the right of withdrawal during this time it is required notify the GALLERYMAK by email or phone.
Under what conditions/circumstances may I not have the right of withdrawal?
1) The goods which are made in line with the buyers personal needs or special requests (including amended or added on person/individual who needs to be private, special products which are imported/procured from inside or outside the homeland pursuant to the order of the buyer): Artworks which are sold in "PRINTS" category in GALLERYMAK.com website are within this context,
2) the goods which is mixed with other products after delivery and cannot be separated because of its nature,
3) all kinds of digital content products such as books, photographs, CDs, DVDs, audio and video recordings, software and etc. and computer supplies which protective elements such as packaging, tape, seal, pack opened: the products which are sold in the category of "PHOTOGRAPHY" in GALLERYMAK.com website are within this context,
4) All services which is carried out immediately in electronic media and all kinds of intangible goods which is delivered instantly to consumers,
5) Goods or services which is its price varying depending on fluctuations in the financial markets and is not in control of seller/supplier,
6) Services which is started to perform in the right of withdrawal period with approval the buyer and
7) The states which is generally considered outside the scope of distance selling in accordance with the relevant legislation and commercial/professional purposes of the buyer purchase,
8) The PRODUCT orders which have delivery address apart from the Republic of Turkey,
9) All international orders, have NO RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL even if unused.
How do I return the artwork that I purchased?
In cases of using the return right in time, it is mandatory that sending the product/order to the address determined by GALLERYMAK, costs being borne by the buyer, within maximum of ten (10) days. In this refund process, it is required that the product/order has to be delivered complete and undamaged with the boxes and packing. In addition, it is mandatory that return the original invoices relating to order with example of cargo delivery record about the product which is delivered to 3 party or the buyer was posted to GALLERYMAK of the delivered product. In case of failure to submit the original invoice VAT and, if there is, other legal obligations non-refundable.
When will I get a refund if I return the artwork?
Within 14 days from the date of receipt of breach notification, product/order fee will be refunded to the buyer with suitable payment tool used while buying the product/order.
How do I apply to sell my artwork on Gallerymak.com?

What kind of artwork can I apply to sell?
We sell art in every genre, size, style and media. All artworks must be signed and have certificate of authenticity (if the certificate is not available, a letter proving that the artwork belongs to you) must be submitted.
Can artists living outside of Turkey apply?
Yes, our application is open to artists living outside of Turkey as well.
Do I have to pay any fees to fill the application form?
All applications are FREE OF CHARGE.
Why am I asked for my birthday on the application?
We want to make sure that you are old enough to legally sell an artwork (we also like sending birthday messages!).
Do you offer printing services for sellers?
Yes we do. Our strategic partnership with P&P company allows us to provide printing services of your artwork on high quality paper, papyrus, alimunium plate and pillow. We also handle the shipping of these prints. When you fill the application form, please notify us as “I want to sell the prints of my artwork” and we will provide you detailed information.
I have submitted the application form. When will my artwork be exhibited for sale?
Your application will be reviewed by our curators and you will be notified within 72 hours. After the review is completed, your artwork will be; exhibited for sale, re-considered after the submission of additonal information or will not be exhibited for sale.
Do I need to sign my artwork?
All artworks should be signed. It is important in identifying you as the creator. If you are not the creator of the artwork you are selling, make sure that the artwork is signed by the creator of it. In addition, many collectors prefer to purchase signed artwork.
How will you market my art?
We promote our artists and artworks in a number of ways. We manage a large online advertising campaign and we conduct a lot of search engine optimization. We sent direct and private e-mails to target audience, we efficiently use social media platforms like Instagram – Pinterest – Twitter – Facebook.
If I exhibit my work at GALLERYMAK, may I seek other gallery or online representation?
Gallerymak has the non-exclusive right to the artwork displayed on the website. All you have to do is to inform us if the artwork displayed on Gallerymak is no longer available for sale. We encourage you to pursue physical gallery representation while exhibiting on our site. This increases the exposure of your work as well as of our gallery.
Can customers living outside of Turkey buy my artwork?
Yes they can buy.
