“Haughty, smart and inquisitorial women figures which keep sadness and melancholy beneath their smile gives me inspiration. My artworks can be described as naive, figurative and colorist. Picasso, Modigliani and Klimt have great impact on me; especially Amedeo Modigliani. At the beginning, my figurative works were fussy but later on I created shallow abstractions and fragments. I shifted my works of colorful paintings into colorist and abstractive works. In my first years as an artist, I was focused on fine art landscape and after I decided to work on figures. Today, I am using landscape as background on my figurative paintings.”
