Armagan Korkmaz

Armagan Korkmaz graduated from Dokuz Eylül University, Buca Faculty of Education, Painting Department in 1995 and started her career as a teacher in Erzurum, in 1996. After teaching in Ankara, Gaziantep and Balıkesir for years, artist is working as an instructor in Iskenderun at present. She attended group exhibitions in her university years. After graduation, she started practice individuals in an art atelier and held her first solo exhibition in Balıkesir. She is working on her upcoming solo exhibitions. She used to create expressionist and figurative oil paintings and after she switched to paint modern miniature artworks. Ships, landscape, themes of Mevlana Rumi have become the main themes of her latest works.
