ABOUT THE ARTIST
I believe storytelling is the essence of art and that art is the expression of the soul. The depth of a story can be achieved through unifying different phases of that story in a single context. With this understanding, layering the stages of a story on top of each other, creates the foundation of my art and paintings. Taking deep and somewhat heavy topics and depicting them through bright and vibrant colors and the use of contrast between light and darkness, I try involving hidden silhouettes and faces that these stories represent throughout my paintings. I mostly work on questions about life, being human, emotions, existence and the meaning of it all.
