Bulent Ilim

Bulent Ilim studied art and language during his eight years in France. In recent years, he has toured exhibitions in France and made research on artistic techniques. He produced oil portraits and still life paintings. Over time, his productions grew in size and created its own style. He reflected the mythological characters, carpet rug patterns, old folk songs, stories and fairy tales in European, Anatolian and Mesopotamian culture with contemporary art techniques. He identified the city of Etampes, where he previously lived in France, as the subject of his new exhibition. He plans to exhibit 15 personal works about the city of Etampes in Etampes and Paris in 2022. He continues to practice art in his own atelier in Turkey.
