ABOUT THE ARTIST
Born in Istanbul in 1973, the artist graduated from the Department of Interior Architecture at Marmara University Faculty of Fine Arts. Beginning an artistic career in the fields of caricature and illustration, the artist contributed drawings to various humor and literary magazines and worked as a designer for many different companies over the years.
Bringing this interdisciplinary background into the field of painting, the artist has devoted recent years primarily to visual art. Through the works, a bridge is created between reality and imagination, inviting viewers to explore layers of meaning beyond what is immediately visible.
The artist’s artistic vision is built upon creating works that question, inspire reflection, and guide viewers on their own inner journeys. For the artist, each painting serves as a silent narrative that opens the doors of the subconscious. By creating visual universes where timeless ideas, symbols, and imagination move freely, the artist seeks to establish a profound and personal connection with the viewer.
This approach transforms the artist’s works from mere visual experiences into multilayered spaces of discovery, open to individual interpretation and exploration.
