ABOUT THE ARTIST
Hale Feriha Hendekcigil was born in Istanbul, in 1992. After completing her secondary education in Bolu Anatolian Fine Arts High School, she won Anadolu University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Glass in 2010 and graduated in 2014. She is currently a Master's student at Anadolu University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Glass. Artist attended several group exhibitions iSweden, Czech Republic, Netherlands and Turkey. She participated in long term workshops of Glass Furnace Foundation by taking various scholarships as well as her education in the same department. She took lessons from masters like Vladimir Klein in the cold glass sculpture, Pino Cherchi in the pouring iron, Rob Stern in the hot glass, Jiri Pacinek and Janusz Pozniak. Hendekcigil’s works are present in Czech Republic Praha Stanislav Libensky museum collection and Swedish Glass Factory.
