ABOUT THE ARTIST
Pinar Toker was born in 1982. For years, she wondered why rain and snow was colorless. Since her acquaintance with school goes back before her birth, backyard of her house was like a school to her where she perceived education as a necessary nutrition. As a child of a teacher mother and father, she spent her childhood at the garden of school inside soil and dirt; she learned drawing before writing. She started primary school at the age of 5, directly from 3rd class. When asked what she was going to be when she grow up, “dirt worker” she replied. Since 2010, artist continues to practice art in her atelier named as “Water Sphere”.
