In A Quiet Storm, I explore the emotional turbulence that lives beneath stillness. Each female figure represents a different inner condition — strength, vulnerability, withdrawal, performance. Though they share the same space, each one exists within her own psychological orbit.
The swirling yellows and spiral movements in the background symbolize the restless motion of the mind: thoughts circling endlessly, sometimes burning, sometimes barely audible. The pink halo surrounding the figures is an attempt to protect a moment — to hold an emotion in place before it dissolves.
This painting lives between reality and dream. Because the inner world is never static; it shifts quietly, like a storm felt only from within.
